1. Required Documents & Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Electronic Documents Before starting the online application, please prepare two image files (in .JPG or .JPEG format):

  • Passport Bio-page Image: A photo or scan of the page containing personal information and the ICAO lines (ensure the image is clear, without glare or cropped corners).
  • Portrait Photo: Size 4×6 cm, white background, looking straight ahead, without colored glasses.

Step 2: Online Information Declaration Access one of the two official websites of the Vietnam Immigration Department:

At these sites, you will:

  • Upload your passport image and portrait photo to the system.
  • Fill in all required personal information.
  • Important Note: For the purpose of entry, you should select “Working” and enter an intended schedule that matches the timing of ICLS 2026.

Step 3: Fee Payment After completing the declaration, you will receive a Registration Code. You then need to pay the visa issuance fee through the online payment gateway:

  • 25 USD for a single-entry visa.
  • 50 USD for a multiple-entry visa.
  • Note: This fee is non-refundable if the application is rejected or if information is declared incorrectly.

Step 4: Result Inquiry and E-visa Printing

  • Processing Time: Usually about 03 working days after the system receives full information and fees.
  • How to check: Use your Registration Code, email address, and date of birth to check the results on the registered website.
  • Printing: Once the application is approved, you must print the E-visa on paper (do not simply save the digital version on your phone) to present to immigration officers upon entry to Vietnam.
